Speedscan 3 in 1
Film scanning, unlike paper scanning, can be considered a very complex task, because
microfilm comes in many different types and sizes. SunRise Imaging has found a solution
with the design of innovative microfilm scanners and modules.
The SunRise microfilm scanners incorporates the latest in computing hardware. The
3-in-1 scanning system consists of a Base Unit which includes, computer, software, scanner
controls, camera and light source plus one of 3 modules for rollfilm, fiche or aperture card.
SpeedScan is the all encompassing scanning system. It allows users to scan and digitize
any kind of film with the appropriate module (rollfilm, aperture card, and ultrafiche).
The integrated computer uses Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional operating
system. The graphic display interface to the SunRise scanners allows the use of a
standard analog display. A 17” or larger display, with a minimum 1280 x 1024 resolution
is recommended for best results.
